Programming Contests

I won 2 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medals at 5 South America Programming Contests. I was invited twice to the world finals together with a team to represent Universidade de São Paulo. I was always the only team member from the Mathematics Department, all others belonged to Computer Science.

Our team also won 1st (gold medal) on every participation in the IME-Universidade de São Paulo contests. I also won a few national and local contests.

Algorithms and programming contests were a big influence in my early career. I organized some contests for Mundo J magazine.
