Guiminam

This is my interdisciplinary channel where I write code, interview experts putting together programming, education and introduce basic computer models to discuss topics such as meritocracy, vaccination, board games, magic and much more. Here are two sample videos.

Teaching Flutter through Magic

Together with Filipe Deschamps I created a short series on basic Flutter while we generate magical effects. Flutter uses the DART programming language to provide a framework for mobile app development.

The source code can be found on Github for the calculator and the Pokemon prediction.

Conversations on Magic

How did this effect work? Wrong question. When you see magic as a performance art, the right question is “why did they fall into a fantasy world through this effect?”. Why, not how. The “method” is secondary to the reason when you take magic from this perspective. Misdirection, storytelling, and the creative process are some of the topics we discuss in this short series of 4 conversations with Michael Close.
