  • The mother of all predictions

    The magician goes to someones home and places a folded piece of paper on the table with one prediction.

    A volunteer selects one item.

    The folded piece is opened and contains one single instruction. The volunteer follows that non ambiguous, clear instruction… which reveals the prediction of the free choice was correct.

    Two methods available. Can be performed with any kind of items. Can be performed with and without a force. Can be performed with full deck stories.

    Does not work on everyone’s home.

  • Futurology Class

    A guest is given a book on “How to predict the future” and a double blank card. They follow the instructions and write their prediction on the blank card. A second volunteer picks one item (such as a card from a deck).

    The guest prediction is revealed to be the correct selection.

  • Rock paper scissors

    “Can you see the future so I can win the lottery?”. No. Actually magic makes me NEVER win. Let me show you. A deck of cards consisting of rock, paper and scissors is fairly shuffled. Cards are fairly dealt one by one.

    The magician NEVER wins.

    A great effect for after the show, when someone makes the comment regarding the lottery, cassinos etc.

  • The magic dice

    The magician holds a piece of paper and a pen. One volunteer picks a card. A second volunteer chooses 3 dice amongst 5.

    The second volunteer chooses and gives a book to the magician, which is never opened. The magician reveals both the selected card and a word. The word is written by the magician is found at the exact page and word numbers given by the dice.

  • Very close

    The magician loses an unseen signed card in the deck. They mention he is always gets close to finding the card, but never really gets it.

    The guest is asked to lift a bunch of cards and reverse them on top of the deck. The card face up is not the signed one, as expected.

    The magician proceeds to spread the cards lifted, none of them is the signed one. But the next card face down is the signed card.

    Never fails. Never requires equivoque or magician’s choice.

  • You got robbed

    The guest cuts the deck, looks at three cards and chooses one to represent the robber. They replace the cards on the deck and they are lost. The deck is truthfully shuffled.

    A card is revealed to be the cop. The cop brings suspects in groups and finds out the robber.

    Several methods available.

    Possible with or without fishing. Possible with or without a force.

  • That unique person

    The guest signs a card to represent themselves. The card lost in a small packet of cards representing their school or work friends. First year of school/work, and two groups form. A King (the remaining card) is who decides who is the “cool group”. Others try to follow the same path. But not you. Second year, again, the king brings half of the remaining people. Third year again, only one person is left, the person who does not think like all the others. The person who follows their own path, that unique person is... you.

    Variation with an without a force. With court cards only or random cards.

  • Math: a thief's x-ray

    Three random purses are brought to the stage. A volunteer’s bill is placed on a random purse. After several position switches, the magician reveals to know the bill’s position and that bill exact serial number.

  • The magical printer

    Printers are like magicians. They never work as you expect them to. My printer is also magical, I printed this paper.

    Now the volunteer stops on a card of their choice and the printed paper reveals to have that card face down.

    The paper stays in sight the entire time.
